Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to oversee financial transactions, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts
• Manage budgets and forecast financial performance
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies
• Support audits and implement internal controls
Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field plus ICAN certified
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• 5 years plus experience in a financial institution
