ROLE: PROCUREMENT OFFICER
A reputable interior design and renovation firm with a principal focus of providing design solutions for residential and commercial projects. We are looking to hire a candidate who has worked as a Procurement Officer in an Interior design or construction firm or has educational background in Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Building.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing procurement plans and purchasing interior design decor and home fittings.
• Overseeing and supervising purchasing activities for construction works.
• Following up with procurement and ensuring that timelines are met.
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Preparing cost analyses, and reports on procurements.
• Manage purchased inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any field with 2-4 years’ procurement experience working in an Interior Design, Architectural, Building or related field
• Educational background in Quantity surveying, Architecture or building would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skill
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
